PEGS
Publications of the English Goethe Society, or PEGS, is the journal of the Society. It appears twice yearly. Number One (published in May) usually contains proceedings of symposia or conferences organized by the Society. By tradition Number Two (November) publishes papers read before the Society during the previous year.
PEGS also welcomes unsolicited submissions on any topics relating to
• Goethe’s life and works and their immediate context
• the literature and culture of 18th- and early 19th-century German-speaking lands
• responses to or reception of that literature and culture both outside and within Germany up to the present day.
For guidance on submitting copy, please refer to Submissions.
